Hi, We're Nexus Pharmaceuticals
As a privately held, woman-owned, minority-owned company, Nexus Pharmaceuticals has been a pioneer in the generic and specialty injectable drug industry since its inception in 2003. At Nexus Pharmaceuticals, we specialize in innovative processes to make difficult-to-manufacture specialty drugs that are easier to use, less labor-intensive, and more streamlined in practice. Nexus ensures that its high-quality FDA-approved drugs fulfill a critical unmet medical need and delivers dependable life-saving treatment options when and where they’re needed most. We are currently in the process of building Project Tomorrow (https://www.nexuspharma.net/project-tomorrow/) – a high-tech manufacturing facility, and the only project of its kind in the sterile injectables industry in the last 30 years. Located in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, we hope to create over 400+ new local jobs long-term.
Why Work with Us?

Our team thrives in an environment that values collaboration, creativity, and individual contribution. This culture ensures we are constantly moving toward the innovative scientific development that is at the heart of who we are.

How does Nexus inspire you to succeed?
I am constantly thinking: Can we make this process better? How can we help other departments? How can we make this accessible to all employees? I love the fact that your opinion matters and that pushes me to be better.
Viola
Junior Accountant
What motivates you to come to work at Nexus every day?
I am motivated by the end product of our work, patient safety, and the quality of our products. I am dedicated to making sure that the products we have are safe for use.
Becky

What sets Nexus apart from other operations?
The culture at Nexus is definitely unique. I have never worked for an organization where the drive to give back to the community and country is so important. In many companies, the focus is solely driven by profit to keep shareholders happy, and the product and patient are second to this goal. At Nexus it is apparent that compassion for the patient and care in the quality of the product comes first.
John
Vice President, Manufacturing Operations
What do you like about working at Nexus?
At Nexus, the employees are respected and recognized for their hard work. The little things that Nexus does to appreciate their employees, for example, sending thank you gifts, organizing monthly lunches and birthday celebrations, keeping our Work Cafe stocked with a variety of snacks and treats, go a long way in showing that they genuinely care for their employees and want them to feel valued.
